The Youth Life Ambassador Program (YLAP) was designed to assist Pinellas Prevention Partners with realizing their mission of reducing youth substance abuse by creating a safe and healthy community through public and private collaborations that link youth, adults, families and neighborhoods to public awareness, advocacy, education and healthy solutions.

The YLAP offers developmental resources to youth and families to aid with enhancing their capacities to reach their full potential. The program seeks to inspire community-based action and participation as we collectively work toward reducing substance use/misuse across Pinellas County.

The YLAP's ecosystem for the desired change includes; a) training, b) education, c) capacity-building, and d) community collaboration.  Together we believe that we can foster a culture of health that's equitable and inclusive for Pinellas County residents.
